Acknowledging gap in team needs and understanding skills you should hire for is somewhat of an art, especially if you are managing a global team. To ensure we hire the right people, I facilitate conversations with my teams to identify the skills and attributes we need and create tailored onboarding schedules to be successful as a design team and for the business.
